Frequently asked Questions

How do I use my Angels?

Topic: Asking for Permission

Not a lot of people realize that in order for the Angels to work with you they have to have direct permission from you in order to provide help. You see, it is all about free will. Everyone has free will, and even though your Angels see you struggling or having difficulties, they are not allowed to intervene unless given specific permission from you to help. The only time an Angel is allowed to intervene without direct permission is if you are experiencing a life or death situation, and it is not your time to go. We usually call these Miracles.

So as an example: You are having a relationship issue. You are confused, and angry, and don’t see a way to resolve this situation. If you asked the Angels of relationships to come forward and help you, they will. It might be done in a very profound way but more often than not working with your Angels is subtle and calming.

Now to invoke the Angels you don’t need to know all of their names and what they all do, it is just as simple as saying Angels help me now. When I work with the Angels I tend to ask for the specific group of Angels to help such as Angels of Finance, Angels of Health, or Angels of Relationships.

Remember, the most important thing is to practice asking your Angels for help. Try with small things like finding the perfect parking spot, asking for a free cup of coffee or tea, or asking for green lights on the way to where you are going. Angels never measure our requests. They are solely there to help us in any way, so give them permission to help your life develop with ease and grace!

Angel Blessings

ONENESS AWAKENING WEEKEND

Presented by Amy Omelusik in Calgary December 3rd to 5th  2010

The new Oneness Awakening course, taught over 2 1/2 days, is designed simply to help a person move beyond the limitations and structures of the mind. When we are identified with the mind– when we filter our experience through our past conditioning– we are in fact not living, but merely existing, merely surviving. When we live within the structures of the mind, we are not actually alive at all. The purpose of life is simply to live– to experience reality as it is– that natural state where the senses are alive, the heart is open, in direct contact with the Oneness in everything.
The course will make use of all of the various teachings and processes that we have received from the Oneness University and through our own life experience. It is not a course to convey information or to help you to work on yourself, but rather a vehicle through which to show you directly what life is like outside the realm of the mind– that vast peace, stillness, and love that is revealed in direct experience.
This is a very sacred, divinely led process which culminates in the transmission of a very special Deeksha called the Mukthi Deeksha, given through an ancient spiritual technology called Padukas. Padukas are symbols that represent the feet of the Divine, a powerful cross-cultural understanding of surrender. What makes this Deeksha unique is that it comes directly from the Divine and is not routed through the human being. It is a direct transfer from the Divine to the recipient, with the sole purpose of taking the recipient into the state of Oneness and Awakening—that same state enjoyed by saints, sages, and mystics world over.
The Mukthi Deeksha is transferred as part of a three-fold process, which serves to prepare the recipient to receive this Divine benediction. First, the physical body is prepared through dancing, an ancient ritual practiced by all cultures and traditions as a way to open to the Divine. Through this dancing, the kundalini is activated and the chakras are opened. Next, the participants are guided through a process of chanting to fill the mind and unconscious with the presence of the Divine and to clear away any remaining obstacles to the full receipt of the Deeksha. This chanting serves to “program” the mind and energy body for Awakening. Finally, the participants receive the Mukthi Deeksha itself, in a sacred ceremony involving the touching Padukas or other Sacred Religious objects of your own faith.

Now I know that when it snows a lot of people go into a funk. Part of the reason for the funk is because one of our sensories gets diminished. Our sense of smell goes into hibernation mode. This is an important time to make sure that we are taking care of ourselves. Plenty of sleep, good food and lots and lots of fun, laughter, and good smelling items. Take the time to help your senses feel more alive. Take out some of your essential oils and experiment with them. Take your favorite say… wintergreen. Sprinkle some on cotton balls that you have placed inside a votive holder. Now place those holders close to your heating vent on the floor of the room you spend your most time in, you have an instant air freshener each time your furnace comes on.

Another great thing to do is take an old pot, one that you won’t use for anything but scenting your house as you don’t want any food to come into contact with this pot or else it will taste like whatever scent you are using. So depending on what you are trying to accomplish you will combine a series of items to enhance the smell in your house. A cinnamon stick added with apples and a dash of vanilla in a pot of water to simmer slowly on the stove. Please keep an eye on the pot so it does not run dry! Adding essential oils to the pot of water and having it slowly simmering on the stove is a great way to help increase our relaxation senses.

If you are experiencing colds and flu’s in your house use Eucalyptus in a pot of water to help disinfect your environment as well, help you open your passage ways so you can breath better, another scent that helps with this is sweet birch, wintergreen and spearmint or peppermint.  Now remember if you are looking for relaxation scents then you need to be mindful that such scents as Orange, Lemon, Tangerine, Peppermint, Spearmint are all stimulating scents that are used to keep you awake, which is great during those 3 pm slumps. If you are having trouble sleeping then the scents  you might try are Chamomile, Lavender, Neroli, Sandalwood, Patchouli, or a blend such as Calm or Relaxation.

Remember feelings of Winter do not have to be a negative thing. Just remember that you give yourself permission to take care of yourself in the best way you know how. Then start asking others around you how they take care of themselves and use the ones that work for you and leave the rest!

Happy first snow storm!

Have you ever wondered if people really believe the things they say to you?

We will ALWAYS be friends. I will NEVER leave you. Your my BEST friend. I will LOVE you forever. Skip forward a bit and  you can see relationships fall apart, lovers leave each other, and people just generally hurt each other by not keeping their word.

I know for me that I have felt the truth of those words that I have said to people at the time that I have said them. I was thinking about that today and realized that I am a person who tries really hard to say what I mean and mean what I say. Of course I know that when I am angry I tend to say a lot of stuff I don’t want to admit to at the time, as I am just either trying to defend myself, get my point across or just hurt someone as I am hurting. So I am not talking about the Ego talk.

I am referring to the talk that allows the other person to be entangled with you emotionally. The type of words that sends the emotions deeper and deeper into a field of togetherness. It doesn’t matter the gender, age or type of relationship with someone when the words are used like a healing salve on an open wound they can impress upon our energies like a comforting blanket or hug.  I think that some of our most damaging talk is when we make our own language to ourselves of promises, commitments or some day and then never follow through on them.

What promises or commitments have you made that you didn’t follow through on?

What does COMFORT really mean to you?

I think that the definition of comfort would be as unique and broad as each of our ideas and concepts can be.

I have spent the majority of my life making sure everyone else was comfortable. If I was out with a group of people I would delegate myself to be the group “Mother Hen” and make sure that everyone felt included and able to participate. If they wanted to leave all they had to say was ”oh but I feel uncomfortable here” I wouldn’t even hesitate, we would leave. Not very often did I think about my own comfort, until recently. I was laying in bed one night and thinking wow my bed is really comfy. I love these sheets, and my blankets and comforter are so soft and the pillows, well they gave me just the perfect amount of support. Then I started to think about where else in my life did I feel this kind of comfort? Let me tell you it was very interesting to find that I knew more of where I was uncomfortable then where I was comfortable.

The big epiphany came when I realized  that I never felt comfortable in my own skin. The revelation of that was unnerving but mostly it was sad.

Don’t get me wrong I am not whining or anything like that. I just realized that I never really felt that this body was the right fit for me. Even when I was a child.  The older I got the less comfortable I felt in my skin and in my family. Then at 14 the truth came out that I was adopted. Not that it changed my comfort level any it certainly gave me some clarity as to why I never felt like I belonged.

So what else doesn’t make me comfortable? Well to start with my house, which was purchased during a very difficult pregnancy without my input as I was unable to leave the hospital to house hunt, our lease was up in less than a month and we had to find a new place pronto. Needless to say it wouldn’t have been my first choice. As I look back on it now I have worked really hard to make this house comfortable for all it’s occupants and it has served our family so very well for 23 years.  The furniture in the house is here mostly of necessity because we were shopping for the practicality of a family, not because I LOVED them.  Amazing how you can or will adapt.

So I pose this to you. Are you living in your comfort or have you adapted to your surroundings?
